For porous surfaces and challenging joints, apply CA glue to one side and C-SET to the other, wait 4-6 seconds for solvent evaporation, then join for rapid 4-8 second curing.

Bob Smith Brand Insta-Set is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows super glue to quickly cure in thick layers by enhancing the alkaline conditions during polymerization. Insta-Set, sold in a pump spray or aerosol, can be applied to one surface and super glue to the opposite surface. When brought together, they will bond instantly. Insta-Set is formulated to activate super glue in 6 to 8 seconds without any degrading of the glue’s strength, which can occur with many other accelerators. It is compatible with all surfaces.
